A process that follows this particular extrusion method is known as thermoforming, in which a sheet is exposed to heat until it turns into soft plastic so that you can mold it into any shape. But, if you're going to use vacuum when doing this, the method is known as vacuum forming.

3. Tubing extrusion

In this process, plastic extruders are used to create tubes like medical tubing and drinking straws. It's also similar to usual extrusion except for the die. 4. Compound extrusion
